Our time together will include 2 panel discussions and 3 break out sessions. Please see below:

2 Panel Discussions:

Panel 1--Black Moms Matter: A closer look into Black Maternal Health Care (Black women are dying at 4x's the rate of their white counterpart. Studies have shown that the underlying explanation resides beyond education or financial resources. Our panel will break down the vast misconceptions surrounding this reality and why black lives matter before, during, and after childbirth. 

Panel 2--The Importance of Self Care (We all know that in order for us to nurture and care for others, we must first care for ourselves. During this panel, we will discuss why self-care is so very necessary and how we can apply it to our daily lives. 

3 Break Out Sessions: 

***Guests will be able to flow freely through their break out session/sessions of choice.***

Session 1--Hustle Moms: By Any Dreams Necessary (Session will cover the never-ending balance, or the elusion thereof, of motherhood, work, dreaming, and creating.)

Session 2: Miscarriage & Loss (The intention behind this session is to provide healing and a safe space to share the journey through loss. This session will involve journaling and deep breathing.)

Session 3: Identity & Motherhood (Session will cover maintaining your individual identity inside and beyond motherhood.)
